UFC fight night 128 ended on the weekend with Kevin Lee victorious over Edson Barboza, via doctors stoppage in round 5. Kevin Lee dominated the fight, securing takedowns and vicious ground strikes throughout the fight. With this win, he's put himself back into title shot contention. If he were to fight for the title with the current champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, the clash of wrestling styles would be interesting, and many fans have been clamouring for the match up for a while. The fight had one moment where Barboza was able to stun Lee badly, putting him on rollerskates. mmafury.com Lee was able to recover quickly, but it was definitely an exciting moment! from dummysports.com Couple of big fights in the UFC this weekend! Edson Barboza and Kevin Lee face off in the main event, Frankie Edgar is fighting Cub Swanson, in a rematch for the co-main event. Both of these fights have possible title shot contender-ship for the winners (lightweight title, and featherweight title, respectively). I see Kevin Lee being able to wrestle Barboza to the mat and grind out the victory, possible finishing the fight with a rear naked choke. Frankie and Cub have fought before, with Frankie dominating the fight start to finish, and I see this fight going the same way. That said, Frankie was brutally knocked out only a few weeks ago, so it will be interesting to see if that will have any effect on the fight this time around. It's going to be an exciting night of fights and I'm anxious to see who wins.
