2018 Monte-Carlo Masters – Singles The tension is ballooning as we will soon witness the Spaniard Rafael Nadal, the current ATP ranked 1 player and 1st seed, go head to head against the ATP ranked 5 player and 4th seed, Grigor Dimitrov. There is a lot riding on this for both players. Nadal is the two-time defending champion, however, as he is only 100 points ahead of the rank 2 player, Roger Federer, if Nadal fails to defend his title he will drop to rank 2 with Federer taking his place as rank 1.
