2018 Monte-Carlo Masters – Singles


The tension is ballooning as we will soon witness the Spaniard Rafael Nadal, the current ATP ranked 1 player and 1st seed, go head to head against the ATP ranked 5 player and 4th seed, Grigor Dimitrov. There is a lot riding on this for both players. Nadal is the two-time defending champion, however, as he is only 100 points ahead of the rank 2 player, Roger Federer, if Nadal fails to defend his title he will drop to rank 2 with Federer taking his place as rank 1. However, Dimitrov is also looking to win this tournament and work his place up to rank 3 again, which he achieved in November of last year

However, the results look bleak for Dimitrov. In their previous head-to-head record, Nadal leads 10 wins to 1. Moreover, Nadal looks to be back in form after thoroughly defeating Austrian fifth seed Dominic Thiem in a 6-0, 6-2 win in the quarter-finals. In contrast, Dimitrov looks to be somewhat just managing to rise through the ranks after winning 6-4, 7-6 (7/5) against the ATP rank 10 and 6th tournament seed, David Goffin. As to whether Dimitrov can overturn these challenges is up to him alone.

UFC 224 Nunes vs. Pennngton

The fight card takes place in Brazil. The UFC likes to host a big 'Brazil vs. the world' card in Brazil at least once a year. At least 1 Brazilian features in each fight on the card. Amanda Nunes defends her women's 135lbs title against Raquel Pennington. Nunes has looked like a wrecking ball in her past few fights and I see her winning this fight too. Raquel is coming off a long lay off due to injury, I expect this to play a factor in the result of this fight. In the co-main event, Kelvin Gastelum is fighting Jacare. I'm unsure who wins this one. I'm super interested to see who claims victory, as the winner of this fight will possibly be up for a title shot shortly. Hey guys, Here is a video we put together of us playing some sports. we played 'horse' in basketball and soccer. horse is a schoolyard game where people take turns taking shots in a row. if one person gets the shot in, the next person must get his shot or he is out of the game. it was a nice sunny day, good times were had by all. in this blog we each did our own topic.
