Premier league Match-day 34 Recap

 Match-day 34: The Champions decided

From Manchester City Facebook Page
After a disappointing result last week to local rivals Manchester United going down 3-2 in a match that could have made them champions with a win, they have only had to wait a week to be crowned champions. With Man city coming away with solid 3-1 away win against Tottenham, the same could not be sad for Man Utd with a very disappointing loss to last place West Brom, at the conclusion of this result it was therefore mathematically impossible for Manchester City to be caught by anyone and were then crowned deserved champions.

All is not over however in this seasons premier league as there is still a matter European Spots up for grabs and of course the dreaded relegation drop is still undecided.

Some big results this week included Southampton who are looking at the drop losing 3-2 to Chelsea after being 2-0 up. Crystal Palace also took another step in the right direction after a convincing win against Brighton. Whilst Newcastle United have all but secured safety as they came away with a surprising 2-1 win against Arsenal who have still failed to register an away point in 2018.

Southampon    3-2     Chelsea
Burnley           2-1     Leicester
